It turns out to be rather annoying though so I just stone to mud my way past the vault and encounter "Victoria" lady pumps, which are different from the combat boots. Hmm, he's proving to be rather resilient to damage, but now something in there apparently started using chaos spells and polymorphing monsters into others. Fundin Bluecloak is fighting the good cause and summoned a Minor Death that also tries to defeat the hostile monsters, but at least they're doing a number on the hounds even though Fundin might get killed in the process. Water hounds and something that keeps summoning huge-ass packs of ghouls. I can also see some very fleecy "Victoria" leather boots to the south, and their block heels are so incredibly kind and gentle! My sputa will flow down, oh yes will it ever flow! I have a superb feeling on dungeon level 62, and hell yeah I do, since there's a rather big vault right next to me. Ha! That proves I'm more than capable of fighting Sauron, too!

What better way to resume the Lina fight than by using this here trap? (If you correctly deduced that the answer reads "by finding a trap of calling out in a corridor where you can avoid being summoned on, you win a free Ringil.) I speed up, call out Lina and try to melee her again she gestures at my feet but thankfully I resisted, then she teleports away but I just call her out again and finally she's dead. Gaaaaah! I'm not done with that bitch yet! I'll seek her out and kill her! I use my crossbow and become gorged thanks to a potion of healing (GAH), and then Lina gets lucky with a money-stealing attack of course and warps away.

I ignore those and keep attacking her, finding out that she has a stealing attack and a food-eating attack, but then she annoyingly moves out of melee range and starts spamming darkness storm and healing. I heal up just to be on the safe side and then engage Lina Inverse, whose first action is to cast amnesia which my saving throw fails to resist of course. Well, first there is Gabriel the Messenger, who casts mana bolt and summons more angels and has a very annoying passive shock attack. Little does the description say that she's the boss of the main story in Animeband, and thus similar to Sauron himself in power! Can we possibly defeat such an ubermonster? Sorcery is her specialty, and mages everywhere fear her powerful magic and are awed by it. She *loves* to eat, and can consume several meals within seconds. She's crass, loudmouthed, opinionated, and doesn't allow anything to get in her way. Lina Inverse is not your typical scantily clad sorceress babe. Oh, there's Sir Physt, whoever that is! Let's look at his pokedex entry! Not because I deliberately want to get high. Which is an arena, and I encounter a bowel cramps trap - I must have triggered one in real life, because that's the reason why I drank in the first place. The library offers a randart demonshield with lightning immunity, which I refuse of course and then it's on to the next level. And people sometimes get the assumption that I'm always drunk when designing roguelike games I can assure you that this is not the case! Anyway, let's play while high, and see whether I will encounter a glorious YASD! Yeah, it's true, the last time I did was so many years ago that I can't even remember when it was, or why. At this point I took a short break from playing and drank some 79 vol% alcohol, which is noticeable because I usually never drink. It's one of the weird markets though, and I don't really feel like searching the entire map for some useless shops the rare footwear shop I stumble across is not selling anything good. Only a climbing kit or items with the "it allows you to climb mountains" flag allow you to pass them, but flying monsters (which are very common in this dungeon) can easily pass over them. The Land of Mountains is an annoying place, with mountain terrain everywhere.
